Berlin based Irish artist Enda O’Donoghue has recently been selected as one of the five shortlisted artists for the Egoart Art Prize. www.egoart.sk The art prize EGOART, first awarded in 2003, was created was created by the art group Egoart (Viktor Freso and Lukas Harustiak) as an alternative to other fine art awards in the European region.
The prize was awarded to Jan Hakon Erichsen from Norway and other shortlisted artists were: Van Hove Eric from Belgium, Jan Vormann from Germany and Nigel Grimmer from England. Work from all of the artists can be seen here: www.egoart.sk/?p=art-prize

On 3rd October 2009 from 3pm onwards the annual open studio day will be held at the Atelierhaus Mengerzeile, Berlin together with “UNBEGRENZT?” an exhibition of work from the artists of Mengerzeile at the Kunsthalle M3. For further information click here: www.kunsthalle-m3.de
